The Mighty Lemon Drops - Out Of Hand
Originally known as the Sherbet Monsters, the group came together for the first time in the spring of 1985 in Wolverhampton, located in the Black Country. Paul Marsh, Dave Newton, and Tony Linehan had previously collaborated in a band called Active Restraint in 1982, but Newton later departed to co-found the Wild Flowers. The primary songwriters for the group were Dave Newton and Tony Linehan.

Nobody does melancholy as well as the English. The best music in the world comes from that rainy vast strange place. I love the production of this- very abstract, yet somehow well-grounded. This album even influenced Noel Gallagher. Great stuff!!!
Didn't like the original version of this, it got HAMMERED in all the pubs and clubs i went to at the time and i got sick of it. However i liked this version so much that my father bought it for me on single.
